The cascading impacts from fires, the cumulative effects from successive wildfires and the ability to be resilient in the face of these challenges are a call to the wildland fire community to think smarter, faster, and entertain novel ideas to prepare for, respond to and recover from these events. Wildland fire is a dire problem and demands that we address the complexities that contribute to the social, biophysical and design elements that contribute to present day dilemmas. An international gathering that encompasses the entirety of the wildland fire community, including the benefits of and need for more prescribed burning, will help us address these complexities.
The Fire & Climate conference is relevant for researchers and practitioners with expertise in a range of wildland fire areas including air quality monitoring and/ or regulation, land management, fire responders, public health, fire weather, climate change and forecasting, among others. This hybrid conference will leverage the lessons learned in recent extreme wildfire seasons around the globe and discuss emerging adaptive behaviors to benefit the entire international wildland fire community. During the conference, participants will discuss the latest scientific advances, explore how scientific information is being put to practical use in the field and utilized to inform public policy, as well as consider gaps and limits in our current understanding.
Don’t miss this opportunity designed for organizations who want access and exposure to decision makers in the Wildland Fire Community.

The Fire & Climate Conference will be conducted as a hybrid conference, so each exhibitor will have the opportunity to host a virtual booth in addition to their in-person booth. We will not ask you to staff the virtual booth during the event, however, you may collect contacts and follow up afterward. You should think of it as a great advertising opportunity to the virtual attendees.
